Olumsuz yaparken “must” a dikkat edilmelidir. “mustn’t” yasaklama anlamı vermektedir.

v You mustn’t study tonight[a12] . (Kesin bir yasaklama)
v You don’t need to come here[a13]
v You mustn’t come here.[a14]
“Have got to” “must” ve “have to” yapılarının past hali “had to”dur.

“Have to” diğer zamanlarla da kullanılabilir.Ama “must” kullanılamaz.
